Short Bio

I am a doctorate student at École de techonologie supérieure (ETS) university in Montreal.

I am investigating the utilization of proof-of-work (PoW) algorithm modeled to facilitate the use of blockchain technology in the internet of things (IoT) devices while considering IoT devices' limited resources.

I received the M.Sc in electrical and computer engineering in 2021 from Antalya Bilim University (ABU) in Antalya Turkey, and the B.Sc. degree in electrical and electronics engineering in 2017 from Middle East Technical University (METU) in Ankara Turkey. I worked as a research assistant at both METU and ABU in IoT lab, Neuroscience lab, and WISLAB for innovations in wireless communications, security, and sensing lab. I am an author of numerous journals, conference papers, and book chapters. I also hold patents for novel wireless communication technologies.

Efficient PoWs for IoT Networks

  • April 2021: Patent submited for technology proposed in our work called A nonorthogonal multiuser down-link transmission method using auxiliary signals superposition for achieving perfect network secrecy, enhanced reliability, and low complexity reception for Internet of Things (IoT) devices in massive Machine Type Communications (mMTC) scenarios.

  • April 2021: Patent submited for proposed technology called OFDM-based multi-cell transmission using artificial signals injection for achieving perfect secrecy.
